Phalaenopsis stuartiana is endemic to the Philippine island of Mindanao. This is a sibling cross of two very dark yellow clones of the variety nobilis, producing fuller flowers on a more free-blooming plant. This resulting sibling cross is easier to grow than the standard variety. There are no variegated markings on the leaves of this variety.
